The client had received a peculiar approach from an individual who represented herself as a 14 year old child via Facebook, and "she" persisted with these approaches towards him. Following the arrest and charge of the client, it was made known that the client had been reported to police by a dubious and self styled paedophile vigilante group who roam the Internet, and who had deliberately entrapped and set up the defendant. As a result of Paul's tenacious and pro-active approach, both to the investigation of his clients defence and to the disclosure of information held by the Crown; the CPS upon receipt of Pauls artfully drafted Defence Statement dropped the prosecution, much to the relief and delight of the client and his family.
